CODE OF CONDUCT – Club Members

We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all our members. The club believes it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others.

As a member of Kingston Trampoline Academy you are expected to abide by the following:

• All members must participate within the club rules and respect coaches, judges and their decisions

• All members must respect opponents and fellow club members

• Members should keep to agreed timings for training and competitions or inform their coach if they are going to be late

• Members must wear suitable attire for training and competitions as stated in the club rules.

• Members must not smoke, consume alcohol or take drugs of any kind whilst representing the club at any time.

• Members should treat all equipment with respect

• Members must inform their coach of any injuries or illness they may have before the warm-up begins

• Members must not use bad language

• Members should remain with coaches at the end of a session until collected by their parent or guardian

• Members must bounce only with suitable spotters and whilst waiting for your turn on the trampoline you will be a spotter.

• Members are expected to participate in body conditioning during a training session to maintain fitness strength, flexibility and prevent injury

• Members must not sit on the end deck or side frame

• Members must dismount from the trampoline safely

• Members must not use mobile phones in the sports hall. In case of emergency, the club mobile phone will remain on during all sessions

• Members are not permitted to eat or drink around the trampoline.

• Member’s personal property must be kept neatly away from the trampolines and mats and not cause obstruction.

• Members are expected, in the event of an emergency, fire or injury to take direction from Arena Sports Centre Staff.

• Remember that your behaviour reflects on the club. Be supportive of the club and your fellow members. Bullying will not be tolerated at any time and will result in disciplinary action being taken.
