CLUB RULES

There will be a maximum of 7 persons to each trampoline. There will always be a qualified coach at each session.

When not performing on the trampoline, members must act as spotters and must not leave the side of the trampoline without permission from the coach

Children must not leave the hall without permission from the coach and must advise the coach of their return.

Familiarize yourself with the nearest fire exit. If the fire alarm sounds, leave the hall in an orderly fashion. Stay with your coach unless instructed otherwise.

Children should be dropped in the trampoline hall and collected from the hall by a responsible adult. We do not, however, prevent children from leaving the hall to meet the person collecting them. If you wish your child to remain in the hall until you collect them, please make this clear to her or him.

No one may get on a trampoline without permission and without adequate spotters. Only one person on a trampoline at a time unless permission has been given for double bouncing. Difficult or newly learnt skills must not be practised unless under the supervision of a coach.

No food or drink is allowed around the trampoline. Non-carbonated drinks must be brought in a sealed container to avoid spillages. Those attending for less than 2 hours at a time must not bring food.

Mobile phones must not be used around the trampolines and must be turned off during the session.

Jewellery and body piercing adornments are considered inappropriate for safe practice in trampolining. A person with body adornments or jewellery must inform the coach and remove the relevant item to reduce the risk of injury to the participant, the coach and others. Long hair must be tied back.

Socks and/or trampoline slippers must be worn for bouncing. Clothing must be soft and not have buttons, buckles etc. that can catch in the webbing of the trampoline. Jogging bottoms, shorts plus t-shirt, leotard, sweatshirt are most suitable. No one may bounce in denim jeans or hooded tops. We reserve the right to refuse to train any member wearing unsuitable attire.

Each member will be allocated to a particular session. Any additional sessions will be by invitation only (e.g. rig work etc.)

If payment is not received by the second week of a term, your place will be offered to someone on the waiting list. No refunds can be offered for sessions not attended. If you miss the first two weeks of a course without informing the club, your space will be offered to someone else on the waiting list.

Medical forms must be completed on joining the club and any changes must be notified to the club immediately in writing

It is the member's responsibility to inform the club in writing of any changes to personal details, including emergency contact numbers. All details will be held on computer purely for internal use.

No video filming or photography is permitted without permission of the Head Coach in training. Permission for this at competitions is required in writing from British Gymnastics. Reports and photographs may be sent to local and national journals for publication at any time

Anyone who misses three consecutive sessions without notice will be deemed to have ceased his or her membership and will be replaced. At the beginning of a new course only two weeks' grace will be given. Any outstanding fees must still be paid.

Annual membership is due on the first Saturday in January of each year or on joining. British Gymnastics membership and London Gymnastics Federation, if appropriate, is payable when returning to club after the summer break or on joining.

Members will be given at least four weeks notice of any increase in annual membership and of any increase in fees, unless our hire charges, or other charges, are increased without ample warning. We will give as much notice as possible of any increase in British Gymnastics membership but we are dependent upon notification from them.

Members will receive a regular newsletter by e-Mail

Failure to obey the rules may result in expulsion from the club.

All Development Squad members are expected to enter all competitions of their ability (except for illness, holidays, etc.).

All Development Squad members must have their own club kit (leotard, whites/blues for boys) for use at competitions. Leotards and shorts must be worn for training sessions

All Development Squad members must keep a training diary. This must be kept up to date and must be accessible to your coach at any time.

Fitness testing will take place twice a year and members will be assessed and given areas to improve on.
