Welcome To The Pages of Kingston Trampoline Academy
We would like to welcome you to Kingston Trampoline Academy. The club is run for children from 5 years of age, by a High Performance Grade coach. A contact name is at the end of this sheet should you ever need to contact us. We also have assistance from other coaches on a regular basis. Our coaches are all members of British Gymnastics and have been screened for their suitability to work with children.
There is an annual membership fee, which is due on joining and subsequently on the first Saturday in January each year. Club members must also join the British Gymnastic Association, the cost of which varies dependent upon status (recreation, competitor, temporary etc.) and is due on joining and subsequently on 1st October each year. Kingston Trampoline Academy is strictly a non profit-making organisation and, as such, we request that all fees are paid on the first day of each course. A course runs in line with school terms and the cost varies accordingly. Any residue funds at the end of a course are ploughed back into the club to buy new equipment or maintain our current equipment. We reserve the right to pass on any bank charges incurred through late payment of fees or through cheques returned unpaid. We occasionally have fund raising drives to purchase new equipment.
Members are organised into squads of different levels, development, competition and elite groups according to their individual needs. Each gymnast will have a personal folder outlining goals, aims and targets for the year and coaches will be pleased to discuss the training programmes and your child's needs with you. Generally, all our gymnasts work towards proficiency awards. Each award is progressively more difficult so do not despair if it takes a long while to pass.
All gymnasts will need their own club kit.

We operate an open philosophy and welcome the support of parents and guardians. Wherever possible we will enable you to observe training sessions provided it does not contravene Health and Safety regulations. We also encourage and value parental involvement in the club.
There is a waiting list to join the club and we therefore ask that you inform us if you intend to give up trampolining so that your place can be offered to someone else. Fees are payable termly but we assume you want to continue unless you tell us otherwise.
Video and still cameras are occasionally used for teaching purposes. These are used purely to show an individual his or her own performance as a training aid. We also send reports to local papers naming those who have made significant achievements: if you have any objections to your child being filmed, or having their name or photograph in the paper, then please let us know in writing.
