Andrew and Michael Freeman have won the youth boy's synchronised event at the 44th Nissen Cup held in Savignon Switzerland over the Bank Holiday weekend. This is the 1st synchronised event Andrew and Michael have competed in since they were leading the European youth competition in Metz earlier this year, but had to withdraw due to Andrew sustaining a foot injury. They used their new synchronised routine with a new difficulty value and it proved successful. Andrew and Michael were part of the Great Britain delegation and also competed in the individual event, the individual final saw Andrew qualify in 4th place and Michael qualify in 2nd place, Andrew was also using a higher difficulty value in this routine. The final results were Michael 2nd and Andrew 4th.

Andrew and Michael will be joined by fellow academy members, Matthew Dries, Kate Bramall, Ross Harding and coaches Sarah Silvester, and Charlie Dries for their next competition which is also an international in Loule Portugal 14th - 17th September, Andrew and Michael will be competing in individual and synchronised events.
