British Schools Competition
On Saturday 11th March 2006, five performers from KTA represented their schools/colleges in the finales up in Birmingham.
First up was Emma Britton in the morning. Emma was representing Felton Fleet in the under 13 girls group. Emma performed a good, clean set, which put her into 3rd place, 0.50 behind the leader. In the voluntary Emma scored the highest marks for her form and was then placed in 1st position. Emma did outstandingly well to win, as there was some strong competition.
Next up was Matt Dries, Andrew and Michael Freeman in the under 19 boys category representing Kingston College. Andrew and Michael competed in the individual competition. Michael was leading after the set but Andrew took him in the voluntary to win by only 0.40. The result was Andrew 1st and Michael 2nd. Matt Dries made up the team and with his scored helped to win the team event by a staggering 25.00 points.
Kate Bramall was competing in the under 17 girls for LEH with past members Lauren Cheers and Kate Daley. The girls did exceptionally well and ended up coming 3rd. Well done.
