Success at 1st 2 National Grade 1 events for Kingston Trampoline Academy
The 1st event of the season took place in Eastleigh Hampshire, and saw Emma Britton (current National schools under 13 champion) finish 2nd in the Under 15 group. Elise Gibbins achieved the score to retain her grade 1 status at this event. Michael Freeman finished 4th in the under 19 men's event and also achieved the score for National finals and to compete in the Men's event. Matthew Dries qualified for National finals in the same event and made the final top 8 in the group. Kate Bramall made the final 8 in the final round of the under 19 event. Andrew Freeman competed in the Men's event and qualified for National Finals and finished in 4th place
The Flowers international cup took place in Holland on 17th March and Andrew and Michael both represented Great Britain in their 1st senior event for their country, Michael finished 14th in a very strong field and Andrew had an unfortunate error in his vol so did not complete the whole routine.
The 2nd grade 1 event was in Birmingham and saw Emma Britton finish 3rd in the group and saw her complete her new voluntary routine, Nicola Britton competed her new vol routine, starting with a double somersault as the 1st move. Kate Bramall had a brilliant day, not only qualifying for the National finals but finishing 5th. Andrew finished 2nd in the Men's event and Michael 5th both qualifying for Nationals. Michael Wood in his last competition for the academy finished 3rd in the over 19 group and qualify for Nationals
