JUNE GRADE 6-3 EVENT

The next regional event will be held on Sunday 22nd June 2008. The closing date for gymnasts to enter this event is Saturday 17th May, you must email Sarah if you wish to take part, and send in £11.50 before the closing date

EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008

Good luck to Emma Britton, Michael Freeman and Andrew Freeman who will be competing at the European Championships in Odense Denmark during the 27th April to 4th May. Emma will compete in youth with Andrew and Michael senior. Sarah Silvester will travel as a GB coach.

IAP'S SUCCESS

Congratulations to the Feltonfleet team who won the team event and are now Under 13 National Champions. The winning team were Gemma Pullman, Katherine Pilkington and Susannah Lowe. Katherine Pilkington won the event with Gemma 2nd.

BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008

Well done to the nine gymnasts from Grade 1 & 2 who have so far qualified for the British Championships to be held at the NIA in Birmingham on the 4th/5th July. The Grade 1 gymnasts are Emma Britton (U15), Elise Gibbins (U15), Kate Bramall (U19), Andrew Freeman (MENS) and Michael Freeman (MENS). The Grade 2 gymnasts are Sam Preston (U11), Zoe Preston (U13), Cassy Weitz (U15), and Alice MacAulay (U15). Good luck to those who are still trying to qualify.

NEW JUDGES

Congratulations to our three new judges - Sam and Charlie Crilly and Meghan Tomacki. The three are now club judges and can now judge at the regional events. If anyone would like to become a judge please contact Sarah as we have to provide judges to allow gymnasts to compete.

DOCTOR MEL

Well done to coach Melissa Day who has become a doctor of Psychology. Hopefully know Mel has finished her studies she can become more involved in the club.

PHOTO FORMS

If you wish to take photographs or videos at competitions you need to come in and sign a photography form, which is available until the 17th May.

LOST PROPERTY

Can all KTA kit please be named! Increasingly gymnasts are leaving kit behind after sessions with no names and it takes a lot of time trying to return the item.

TESCO VOUCHERS

Thank you to all that collect TESCO vouchers for the club. Conditioning and training equipment should be delivered soon.

SUMMER SESSIONS

Summer holiday booking forms have been emailed out, please complete and return ASAP to book your space. Spaces are on a first come first served basis.

FEES AND NOT RETURNING

Fees are due so please pay promptly. If you will not be returning in September please can you let Sarah know by the end of the Summer term.

WORLD CUP

Andrew and Michael Freeman have been selected to represent Great Britain at the French World Cup at the end of May in Synchronised Trampoline.

HELP NEEDED!!!!

We need your help!!!! The sports hall will be used for exams for 6 weeks starting in May, and for the 1st 2 weeks, 12th and 19th May both halves of the sports hall will be used! This means we need to move the tables and chairs so we can set up the trampolines, and then will need to put them back in place at the end of the session. I did not want to cancel training, so if anyone can come in and help us, the more the better and the quicker we will be able to start training.
